  • The ladder has a box style format.
  • Players are placed into boxes/groups according to their NTRP rating.
  • Tennis matches are one pro-set, no-ad scoring or 55 minutes in length (whatever comes first). The first player to win 8 games or is winning at the end of the 55 minute mark wins. At 7 – 7, a 7 point tiebreaker will be played. A game or a tiebreaker must be finished for it to count. The result is based on the last completed game.
  • If the bell rings and the match is at a tie it will be recorded as such (only completed games count)
  • When your match is complete, winners will record the score online
  • Players are required to play a minimum of 3 matches each cycle otherwise they will be removed from the following cycle.
  • Points will be awarded in the following manner. Win = 4 points   Tie = 2 points   Loss = 1 point   Default = 0 points
  • At the end of each cycle, the ladder we will adjust the each box according to the results. Top players in each box will be moved up to the next box at the end of the cycle. The bottom players will move down a box.
  • If a player appears to be placed in a box significantly too low or too high, he or she may be moved up or down more than one box at a time.
  • Players arriving more than 15 minutes late are subject to default. You may continue to play if the presenting player chooses to
  • Both players must supply a can of new balls at the beginning of the match. The loser keeps the used balls and the winner the new balls.
