2026 ADULT TEAM & TRYOUT INFORMATION

Exciting news! The Kew teams are back in action! Join us for the Toronto Tennis League, which features DOUBLES ONLY matches running from early May through July. Team matches will be held at Kew Gardens or at other tennis clubs across the GTA, depending on the league schedule.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

If you're interested in joining a team, please take a moment to read this email in full before registering. Providing incorrect information or failing to include essential details could affect your eligibility for a team placement or tryout.

There are limited spots for both tryouts and positions on teams. 

There are limited spots available for each tryout night so if you are interested please make a note in your calendar when registrations opens.

All tryout registrations are done through your Kew Account. The registration fee for the tryout is $30 (Plus HST). 

If all tryout spots have been taken please reach out to headpro@kewgardenstennis.ca to request to be added to the waitlist with the details seen below. If a window opens up we will be in touch.

Include the details below in an email only if all spots have been taken and you would like to be added to the waitlist.

MEN'S TEAMS 

Men's Tryouts will run on 2 separate days - When registering please select only one day.

We will be running Men's D3 and D4 (previously B1 and B2 at the same time.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PLAYERS REQUESTING TO TRYOUT FOR THE A2 TEAM

If you are playing between at a 5.0 + level and wish to tryout for the D2, perviously A2 team please email us at info@kewgardenstennis.ca and we will schedule a separate tryout date.

When registering, please consider the evening your team would be playing their matches on.

D2 (5.0 +) - Matches take place on Thursday evening at 8pm

D3 (4.0 - 4.5) - Matches take place on Tuesday evening at 8pm

D4 (3.75 - 4.0) Matches take place on Thursday evening at 8pm

When registering please select only one day.

Please arrive no sooner than 30 minutes prior to the tryout.

Be prepared to play for the the entire session.

Registration opens and closes online on the following days.

Tryout Date 1 - Saturday April 18, 2026  - 8:30pm - 11:30pm (Mayfair Lakeshore)

Registration Opens - Saturday April 4, 2026

Registration Closes - Friday April April 17, 2026 (please note there are limited spots)

Tryout Date 2 - Sunday April 26, 2026 - 8:30pm - 11:30pm (Mayfair Lakeshore)

Registration Opens - Sunday April 12, 2026

Registration Closes - Saturday April 25, 2026 (please note there are limited spots)

When registering through your Kew Account, click the link Adult Programs and then click the tab Team Tryouts and then follow the steps and please include the following information below.

1. There are limited spots for each tryout night, so please select ONLY 1 night.

2. When registering please include the following information in the ‘ADDITIONAL INFORMATION’ section when registering.***

• First Team choice 

• Second Team choice

• USTA Rating (for more information click here for videos displaying all levels)

• Full time player or substitute

• Include any prior team experience if applicable 

If you cancel within 24 hours or do not show up for the selected tryout, no refund will be issued and you will not be eligible to play on a team.

WOMEN'S TEAMS 

Women's Tryouts will run on 2 separate days - When registering please select only one day.

We will be running all Women's teams at the same time which will include the following teams seen below. 

When registering please consider the day or evening your team would be playing their match.

If you are playing between at a 4.5 + level and wish to tryout for the D1 team please email us at info@kewgardenstennis.ca and we will schedule a separate tryout date.

DIVISION 1 (4.5 +) Matches take place on Monday evening at 8pm

DIVISION 3 (4.0 - 4.25) Matches take place on Monday evening at 8pm

DIVISION 5 (3.5 - 3.75) Matches take place on Monday evening at 8pm

A2  (4.0 - 4.5) Matches take place on Wednesday Mornings at 10am 

B2 (3.5 - 3.75) Matches take place on Wednesday Mornings at 10am
